asian x-games:day one
omgosh.. today was super fun.. i woke up at like 11am.. coz went to bed at 6am right after coming back frm all night prayer meet at church.. got washed-up and wt not.. then headed for J's hse wit pa.. got kinda lost on the way but we managed.. some guy on a motorbike told us to go in the total opposite direction.. i was like.. r u trying to con us?!

waited to leave for KJ station wit T who we picked up on the way.. met J there n i was like aaahhhh!! ehehe coz hadn't seen him in awhile.. gave him a big hurg.. ehehe.. erm left for sunway by taxi.. 12 dollar flat rate.. not too bad considering its like $3 for each of us..

arrived and had to chuck out T's water coz u can't bring in outside stuf.. which is kinda unfair.. coz its a total rip for water in there.. like $3.. the same price as our taxi fair.. like wt the.. lolz.. so we all drank the water in huge gulps.. but din't quite make it to the end so jus decided to chuck it in the bin..

went to the big vert.. well.. its not as big as the one at the revo tour.. like medium sized vert.. saw som jap, aussie, and brazilian guy do their runs.. ahhh! i saw josh xD.. ehehe he was crazy enuf to wear a long sleeved top.. like hello.. even i'm wearing shorts and a short-sleeved top..

checked out the skate park stuff.. walked around.. erm.. drank 100plus.. can't remember much.. BUT one of the highlights was tht me n T were walking to the skate park and on the way i was trying to say somin n i kinda said it too loud and this lady comes up to us
lady:hi, do u guys want to try out for a talent?
jo:what do you have to do?
lady:just speak in front of a camera and do an audition to be a MC/spokesperson
jo:*looks at T*
T:go for it
jo:ok.. cool.. what company is running this?
lady:it's for ESPN's new talent
jo:*ooohhh my gossh how coool* ehehe

so cut long story short.. i had to read lines off big pieces of cards while looking into the camera.. and then i had to give some minor details about myself.. and then do a voice-over..*was not so easy coz the sentences didn't even make sense coz it was a soccer thingo* .. it was such an awesome experience tho.. i reli do hope i get a call-back but even if i don't, i'm really glad i got exposure.. and besides.. i'm reli thankful to God that he gave me a second chance.. coz the last time i was spotted to be a talent.. i didn't reli noe wt i was doing and what to do.. was pretty blur.. n therefore didn't get the job..

oh well J said it's ok coz i can be the production krew's spokeswoman/model/person ahaha.. "i want YOU to join the production krew".. ahaha T was a little kinky tho.. he's like.. "u shd go 'i'm waiting for u..'" ..my goodness.. lolz

checked out the skate park runs.. saw josh again xD ahaha but then they had to close the small skate park coz it was drizzling again and pretty dangerous with the thunder..so we chilled and stuff.. saw a small hip hop/break dancing battle thing.. and then me n Jtried out our own on our own ahaha.. get it? yeh.. i did my round-off backflip and did it reli well except for the landing coz i didn't land on the full.. coz i didn't see the concrete slab.. and yeh.. so i was like.. ouch.. n then i'm walking to T and he's like.. *pointing at foot*.. turns out i got a massive cut on my toe.. so head off to the 'spectator medical' room *when we first saw it, T was like.. nah.. u can go there' ahaha.. well came to pass eh?

went into the room and the first aid guy was reli nice.. he cleaned it up n all.. while he was doing it i saw an aussie dude getting his ankle done.. he was like
dude:'ouch, wat happend to you?'
jo:'cut my foot.. hw bout you?'
dude:'oh sprained my ankle, it rolled in'
jo:ooh ouch! is it a recurring injury?'
dude:'yeh kinda'
jo:'are you a skateboarder or..?'
dude:yeh-
aussie team leader:he's a CHAMPION skateboarder
jo:'oh wow! im sure he is!'

ehehe so the guys came in n they were like.. ohh oww.. ouch.. r u ok? ahaha.. *thanks guys.. ur the best xD n u noe it ehehe* n then the guy had to put antiseptic and it stung like crazy so i was like.. i need a hand to hold.. AND quick! ahaha.. so i jus grabbed whoever gave me their hand.. and was like squashing it.. *soz! ehehe luckily ur 'strong' enuf to withold my 'so-called' strong grip* lolz..

hobbled out and on the way told the aussie dude to take care of himself.. he told me to do the same too.. hmm then we.. left lagoon for pyramid i think.. n then..ate.. chatted n chatted.. i was a bit blur towards the end.. kinda tired.. still lacking in sleep especially due to last night's meet..

cool interesting parts of the day:
*free ESPN tattoos.. awwhh yeah.. we must've used up like.. 10 or so?
*free stickers from freelancing newbie skate brands.. their reli wicked too!
*cool booths-oakley goodies included
*shared red bull and water for $3.. ahaha yes proves to be a very useful amount of money.. went high after tht.. lolz.. somemore it was the less sugar one
*when i almost got the free short boardies coz i screamed the loudest n the aussie MC noticed.. but the msian one din't x( so i din't get it.. oh well not like its roxy or billabong or somin xD
*eating dinner n chatting bt random and thoughtful issues/stuff (teenagemarriages.chicky.hot stuff.etc.)
*pics wit awesome ppl *Jian the host who alwiz sports adidas stuf ;) and the champion aussie skater dude i met in the medical room*
