YT: of Target(s), Oswald, and Isaiah's song yt is youtuuuube for short
Target is an amazing store in the states and aussie and a bunch of other funkehdunkeh countries. it seriously has just about everything you need. it's like those hypermarket-slash-grocery stores-sortabetterthan-tesco-place ("every little helps" loved tht tesco slogan, back in the day)
why am i talking about target anyway!?! well, i've been in "study-mode" the passed month (praiseELord hey!?! discipline IS possible) and i like checking out youtube every now and then (mainly for updates to my subsriptions) sooooo i found this very "i-would-do-that-too" sort of video. and it's about "i've been looking for .. my whole life!" at Target AND E random things one can do in superdy-BIG places. how fun.. i wish i had friends to do tht with :P
if ur interested, go take a peek below :)
............................................
on ANOTHER note, i've been trying to get back on purposeful quiet times. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oswald Chambers, or OC for short (thank God for KenHelser who intro'd it to me and E fellow DTSers). Basically OC is a writer from 'back-in-the-day' and when he passed away his beloved wife compiled all his sermons into short devo's which is now a 365-day devo/book.
What i love about it is that it's very art-abstract like, concrete, direct, not-afraid-of-being honest (in hopes of you living a life of purpose for Christ) and i could go on for days. You could always ask me about "My Utmost for His Highest"(the name of OC's devo). i'd be more than happy to speak my views on it :) ................................................ ALRIGHT. So. Isaiah. well i thought devo's..isaiah.. they sort of connect. (didn't really work and ended up as a topic on its own)
But what i wanted to share was mr Jon Foreman's new song he wrote and shared. It was at this little gig he had the other day at a cafe (if ur not an avid fam like me and Adie: mr JF has basically been going 'round diff venues promoting his new and current EPs. As of recent, he's taken not only a band approach to music but now, a solo approach.. [and soon to be Fiction Family ie duo approach to music. Thaaat should be exciting!]
so the new song was taken directly from the book of Isaiah (as you will hear from the video below)[edit: clarification! it's from Amos he said a booboo or my hearing is way off] mr JonF will always be an inspiration and A Hero in His Own Right (i like saying that line. when i can)
enjoy your week! whoever you are reading this!
