wait! i haven't any crazy "life and death brigade" moments!it's my dad's bday today! his b'day is one day before mine. how cool is that? anyhoover...
i am not ready to turn 19! I have two more hours of being able to say "i'm 18", in response to people asking me "how old are you?".
noooo!
Eighteen was a good year. Not a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious year, but it was wonderful. For some reason I've always held "being 18" as a year that is "a little above the rest" and now, i can't quite remember why exactly. I think it's some subconscious thing and.. it is a nice number :)
(it's nothing to do w superstition)I always thought it'd be a year where you'd get to do crazzzy things. Things that you could get in trouble for but wouldn't. Wild, nonsensical, turns-your-stomach-upside-down-inside-out-right-side-up things. And .. at this moment, i can't recall anything i've done of that sort at 18. sigh. I think the closest i got was going on a road trip to the north of m'sia and the south of m'sia within 50 hours or so, with a band, and during a time when you shouldn't be traveling due to security concerns over the voting period. AND.. that's not THAT crazy.
Oh well, i love being 18. And in a 2 hours, I'll definitely be missing it.
sigh. can't wear it like i meant it anymore :P
