determinedsince coming back home, i've been trying very hard to work off all that i put on while at college. for those of you who thought being a Dance major means you'll lose tons of weight and be uber fit and underweight, you thought wrong. Dancing 5 hours a day makes you pretty hungry and not to mention, dehydrated, that the first thing you do when u get back to the room is pop something in your mouth.
I guess i didn't watch myself enough while i was over there. I should've stopped myself once i noticed i was putting on weight. The buffet style of meals isn't very good either :P and it doesn't help that dancers over there r the same size as you compared to the stick-thin ones here in asia.
Once i went on Spring Break, things started to get better. I lost about 3 pounds when i was at my sister's. Somehow, though, within the next 5 weeks of being back, i put it all on again AND more. ish man. hate my metabolic rate. I should swap bodies w my sis. She's a doctor and size doesn't matter in that field.
Being a dancer means i can't be of any ordinary weight even though it may be okay for a normal person of my height. Even though you may think i look fine, unnecessary baggage and being overweight means i'm killing my knees and ankles and whatever joints i have. I'd love to have the longest career a dancer can have. Meaning.. 20 years?
Anyhow, i'm determined to work it off, eat sensibly and healthily, and try to get back to what i was before i left. So please, encourage me and if you ask me to go mamak with you or go eat out, help me to eat healthy :P 8 weeks to go, 5 kilos to lose!

what i wanna go back to being like.
AND Welcome back Adie!
